The colored lights, the large white canvas and the shadows formed by the tall trees of the Gijsbert van Andel Park created a magical whole. It was wonderful to be able to watch a film again in the green courtyard of Het Natuurcentrum in Gorinchem. On Friday 22 July we screened the impressive and inspiring film Bigger Than Us and on Saturday 23 July we watched lead actor Nicolas Cage in the film Pig with more than 100 visitors.

Melati Wijsen (20) has been taking action against plastic pollution for years. At a young age she succeeded in clearing the island of Bali from plastic bags. This film shows Melati's intriguing journey where she meets other young changemakers who dedicate their lives to a better future. At a time when everything seems to be falling apart, they show in an inspiring way that everyone can make a difference.

Pig

Hermit Rob lives in the Oregon wilderness with his beloved pig, who helps him on the truffle hunt. When the pig is kidnapped, Rob returns to civilization and does everything he can to be reunited with her. But then he will also have to face his past.
