Awards
During the film festival from 13 to 17 April 2022, we watched a wonderful selection of films. Both the visitors and the IFFG Youth Jury were given the role of assessor.
A number of films from the festival program were selected for the IFFG Youth Jury Award. The Youth Jury announced the winner during the closing evening: Yuni by director Kamila Andini. A film about perseverance and breaking with traditions to be able to live your dreams as a young woman.
“Every year there are films that rise above the others and this year Kamila Andini's Yuni was one of them. The cinematography of this film was brilliant and the mix of themes such as love, feminism and powerlessness ensured that the viewer was captivated by the story. After the film, we appreciated our life here in the Netherlands even more.”

The winner of the Audience Award is, as the name suggests, determined by you. During the festival, visitors made their voices heard and indicated what they thought of a film. The IFFG Audience Award 2022 went to the film You Resemble Me by director Dina Amer.
