This summer, IFFG will again set up the screen outside. On Friday 23 & Saturday 24 July we will settle down in the city park at Nature Center Gorinchem. A warm summer evening, big screen and a nice place. Join us for beautiful world cinema under the starry sky!

The Great Green Wall
The Great Green Wall was part of the online festival in April and now certainly deserves a place on the big screen. And then under the starry sky, between the trees, on the island of the Nature Center. A beautiful documentary about one of the world's most ambitious projects against climate change.

Malian singer Inna Modja travels parallel to the Great Green Wall from Senegal to East Africa to bring to light the effects of urgent climate change on a micro level. During her journey, Inna meets various artists and musicians who all take social disruption as the subject of their art. The hope in their music gives life and confidence to the megalomaniac plan to push back the advancing Sahara by planting a long belt of forest.
