This summer, IFFG will again set up the screen outside. On Friday 23 & Saturday 24 July we will settle down in the city park at Nature Center Gorinchem. A warm summer evening, a big screen and a beautiful place. Join us for beautiful world cinema under the starry sky!

Öndög was part of the online festival in April and definitely deserves a place on the big screen. And then under the starry sky, between the trees, on the island of the Nature Center. With his enchanting landscape photography, his ethnographic details and his memorable no-nonsense heroine, Öndög is an irresistible and surprising film.

A murder case in the Mongolian steppe: a naked woman is found murdered. At night, a young and inexperienced police officer must secure the crime scene. Unfamiliar with the dangers on the scene, a local shepherdess is sent to guard him and the body. She is a woman who resolutely scares the wolves and her neighbor. The shepherdess has her own plans for the future, which are closely linked to the myths of her homeland.
